I haven't really been talking about it, but I've still been running. With the issues I've been having, I've been keeping distances short, about a mile to 2 miles.
It still hurts. A lot. Thankfully it isn't debilitating pain the way it was before and it's now isolated just my shins, which is good news. Shin splints. I can deal with that.
I started doing the couch to 5K program with jogging/sprinting rather than walking/jogging to help me get faster. Anything will help, right? I'm very excited that it seems to be getting...not as hard. As KB told me once, "sometimes you just have to do it. 1 mile, then 2, then OMFG, 13!" I'm keeping keeping on.
