Welcome to the first Friday of 2013, folks! Just in a few days, a lot of really great things have happened and they've gotten me really pumped to see what the rest of the year has in store.

Most of you know that I resigned from my job as a 5th grade teacher. I am super excited to announce that I am now a Spanish II and Social Studies teacher at Tara High in Baton Rouge. I am way excited about this oppotunity and even more excited about being back at the high school level of teaching. These kids aren't gonna know what hit 'em!
I'm a Tara Trojan! I also really like that the school's colors are also Gryffindor colors. I get it. I'm a nerd.
Also, I took off from the box for Christmas break and...you guessed it...that was a bad decision. Getting back the past two days has been miserable. The air has been so cold and dry, my chest feels like its going to explode when I'm working out.
I hope all of you had a fantastic holiday break, a wonderful 2013 so far, and I hope you all have found some motivation and have gotten active! What's your plan for the new year?
